i run VS on my Mac, using Virtual PC. it's not great, but it does the trick. having a DSL connection seems to have sped things up, although i still have to use the minimal graphics settings. otherwise it would take about a minute between updates of the "3d" image. in any event, the race data comes across in "real time" so i do get to see the action.
